General Rules
Wikia
- 1A. Please be respectful. Do not troll or post rude or harassing comments/remarks.
- 1B. Do not harass, target, or send malicious threats to others.
- 2A. Refrain from uploading duplicate images.
- 2B. Do not upload images which have nothing to do with what this wikia is of (for example, profile banners). Administrators are exempt from this rule as long as the images are an important asset for the wiki's function and relate to the topic in some form (such as images required for templates).
- 2C. All unofficial content including fan-made characters, locations, and more belong on the Abandoned: Discovery Island RP wikia.
- 3A. Do not vandalize pages or add false information.
- 3B. Do not add unnecessary pages.
- 4A. Do not ask FateForWindows about future updates to the game, as he is the one who makes the creative decisions in regards to it.
- 5A. Do not interfere with threads (warning threads, for example) or threads that have nothing to do with you.
- 5B. Please stay on topic in the comments and forums as much as possible. Continuous off-topic talk or discussion of sensitive topics such as politics are not permitted.
- 6A. Do not backseat-moderate/mini-moderate; examples include arguing with someone over breaking a rule, telling someone they will get into trouble, or pretending to be staff. If a rule is broken, you may politely tell the user that what they are doing may break a rule. If you do see someone breaking the rules, please inform someone who is a part of Staff and refrain from taking matters into your own hands. Contacts can be found on this page under Staff Contacts.
Roleplay
- 1A. All roleplays must remain in the discussion forums' Fun and Games category.
- 2A. No NSFW roleplays; this includes heavy amounts of gore and/or sexual content. This will result in an instant ban from the discussion forums. Online-dating also falls under this rule.
- 3A. No god-modding and/or puppeteering (examples include cheating death or pretending to take control of other users).
Staff Rules
Administrators
- 1A. Do not abuse your powers.
- 2A. Do not block for no reason.
- 3A. Do not keep protecting pages unless Desko says to do so.
Moderators
- 1A. Only delete unnecessary pages and discussions.
How Blocks Work
- Once a total of three warnings are given, a user will receive a block. They will no longer get warnings from that point on and will be blocked instead.
- Most first blocks have a duration of three days.
- Users will receive longer blocks each time they would get a warning if they were blocked prior.
- Second blocks are normally one week.
- Third blocks are normally one month.
- Each block after this will be one month longer, until when the user would get a third-month block. The next block will be indefinite.
On this wikia and essentially others, there are users who can perform special actions to help regulate the site, known as Staff. Below is a table listing all of the staff of the Five Nights at Treasure Island: Found Wikia. Clicking their names will take you to their user pages, which makes it much easier to contact them when something on the wikia is going awry or if a user is causing trouble.
