Species: Duck
Gender: Male
Color (s): White, yellow, black
Starting Location: CAM 3
First appearance: Night 2
I reached for the headpiece of a Donald Duck costume and carefully removed it so the thing wouldn't fall apart in my hands.

As I looked into the face of the wide-eyed, moldering head, a loud clattering sound made me jump with fright.

I looked down at my feet, and there between my shoes was a human skull. It had fallen out of the mascot head and shattered into pieces at my feet; only the empty face and lower jaw remained, staring up at me.

— Abandoned by Disney

Disembodied, also known as Donald Duck by the fans, is an iconic Disney character, and a minor antagonist in the game Abandoned: Discovery Island and Five Nights at Treasure Island: Found Revision 1.

Description

Appearance

Disembodied is portrayed as just a disembodied head. Unlike Acephalous, Disembodied doesn't seem to have any body so far, most likely due to the story this game is based on. His head depicts eyes but they are black and shiny. Unlike the original Disembodied and the Disembodied head featured in the original teaser image, he is missing his blue sailor hat.

Behavior

Abandoned: Discovery Island

Disembodied starts in the Character Prep 1 with Photo-Negative Mickey. He doesn't appear in any cameras, and stays in the one spot, until he stares at the camera, signaling that he will show up at the Office soon.

He will randomly teleport into the Office, making screaming, duck-like sounds. He is non-hostile, similar to Balloon Boy in Five Nights at Freddy's 2.

It has been proven that he will leave after several seconds. An immediate way to get rid of him is to shut off a camera or turn off the Power.

Disembodied was intended to speed up other suits, as he did in the original game. However, due to issues with getting the mechanic to work due to how the AI system functioned, he instead is simply a nuisance to the player and, unlike Pluto, can be safely ignored as he doesn't block any of the other suits from the player's vision.

Five Nights at Treasure Island: Found Revision 1

Disembodied behaves identically to how he does in Abandoned: Discovery Island. However, since the other suits are attracted by noise, Disembodied will attract them with his loud quacking, making him significantly more of a threat.

New Super Abandoned: Discovery Island

Disembodied once again returns, this time with the ability to speed up suits like in Revision 1.

Locations

Disembodied is shown beside Photo-Negative Mickey in Character Prep 1, before turning to face the camera, then suddenly teleporting in The Office randomly.

Trivia

  • Disembodied is one of the four suits who won't attack the player, the others being Pluto, Acephalous's head and Daisy Duck.
  • According to the creepypasta that the game is based off of, Disembodied has a human skull inside his suit's head.
  • Disembodied's quack sound is just one sound repeated with many edits of the pitch and frequency.
  • The word "Disembodied" means to be separated from or existing without a body.
